O’Connell Demolition Ltd is currently appointed as Principal Contractor for the demolition phase of a new hotel development at 58 Neasden Lane.

Royal Victoria Hospital, Kent
O'Connells were appointed as the demolition contractor for the demolition of the former Royal Victoria Hospital in Folkestone, Kent. The scope of works included the licensed removal of notifiable asbestos materials, the partial demolition of the hospital and retention of the original listed portion of the building. In addition 5 no. out buildings were demolished, with all hardcore arising recycled on site for reuse during the construction phase of the project. Works were completed over two phases using in house labour and plant.

O’Connells acted as Principal Contractor for the demolition phase of a new residential development. Works consisted of a large soft strip followed by the mechanical demolition of the portal frame structure. Below ground foundations were removed and existing piles were snapped at a depth of 4m. All materials were recycled and a piling mat laid for follow on trades

Crazy Horse Pub, Stanmore
O’Connell’s first demolition package consisted of the demolition and recycling of the Crazy Horse pub on Stanmore High Street. The existing building was soft stripped prior to the main demolition works. All hardcore arisings were crushed to 6F2 specification and relaid on site as a temporary car park for the client to use until planning for a new proposed scheme was finalised.
